  • Hearing the Joy

The pair brings different perspectives, 12 Step or No 12 Step Rooms, both agree on support groups and getting help. Looking at different ways to embrace recovery like music.

  • They went there

Not a fan of the political commentary lately. And I’m not a Trump fan either. I just don’t really feel like listening to these women go off about it.

They will be alienating a lot of their subscribers. After all, more than half the country voted for Trump. Very turned off

  • Decided to go political

It’s a shame they brought their political opinion into a whole episode. This is about recovery not your heavy liberal views.

Why Does Rehab Fail So Often? Ask Jimmie Applegate
Q: What would you tell someone about choosing treatment if they're entering a 30-day program?
He emphasizes that addiction is individualized, that not all patients respond to 30 days or one modality, and that recovery involves tailoring plans and integrating various modalities beyond traditional approaches.
Why Does Rehab Fail So Often? Ask Jimmie Applegate
Q: What did work for you in your recovery, and what didn't?
A combination of 12-step work, trauma-focused therapies (like EMDR), and newer modalities such as neuroscience-informed approaches to rewire the brain were crucial in his recovery journey; no single method was sufficient on its own.
