    Haver only started learning about menopause after she went through it. 20 plus years as a physician and she couldn’t be bothered. What kind of doctor doesn’t bother to care until it affects her? She is an entrepreneur first, a podcaster and then a doctor, in that order. She is evidence based as long as that evidence drives clicks and doesn’t interfere with her ability to sell her supplement line which lacks any clinical evidence to back it.     I am in Canada and when I was put into medical menopause at 43 I asked my gp and my meno dr about blood testing for levels and they told me they don’t that. I am on an insert but have had labial absorption that tears every time intimate with my husband. We have benefits at work now through science and humans and they tested my levels along with a ton more. Was finally able to get levels and now on estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone along with my insert. I gained weight in my back which I h... more

    I am moved to tears of joy as I listen to Dr. Haver and her guests educate not only women, but health care professionals on the importance of HRT. Like Dr. Haver I have an 83 year old mother who never received HRT, was placed on a statin and anti- depressant, has Dementia and fell and broke her hip. To know that HRT along with my commitment to a good diet and exercise, fills me with hope that Dementia does not have to be in my future.
