  • Appreciate the story

The greatest thing about this podcast is the testimony of an overcomer. However, it lacks any evidence that will help viewers to do the same. It left me in a place where unless I buy the book or become a part of your program I’m still at a loss.

  • 50% of podcast is promoting her $8900 yearly subscription

Very repetitive. Literally 50% at least of her shows are promoting her very expensive yearly subscription plan.

609. Failed Thyroidectomy Treatments, PCOS and the Thyroid, Cortisol/Stress Tanking Hormones
Q: Tracy asks how to sign up for a review of labs and consult to see if becoming a patient would be good?
The answer is to direct to the clinic's intake page (dramie.com) where a large yellow button labeled become a patient appears; the call is not a formal lab review but a consult to determine fit for thyroid and hormone optimization programs, with group lab reviews available in the community group.
609. Failed Thyroidectomy Treatments, PCOS and the Thyroid, Cortisol/Stress Tanking Hormones
Q: Hi Sin. Hi Sarah. Hi Leslie. Ms. Helen says, I would love your input on my labs if possible. Free T3 is a 2.8. It's a little bit low, Helen. Don't like that. TSH is a 0.6. T4 and T3 uptake, we don't care about. Free thyroxine index is pointless. Your T3 reverse is a 13. You do have antibodies. You have Hashimoto's. So you stuck Estrone in there with 24. You had a total hysterectomy eight years ago. Oh, your estradiol is a 36. So, all right, Helen, you have no source of hormones. They have to come in exogenously. So what would you recommend?
The line of advice is to clearly map the hormones around thyroid status, assess reverse T3 and TSH, and verify whether estrogen/progesterone balance and testosterone are adequately addressed. It may involve reducing certain thyroid hormones to improve conversion, adding T3 or a conversion-focused supplement stack (Hashimoto's support, T3 conversion fixer, thyroid fixer), and ensuring exogenous hormone support where needed (progesterone, balanced estrogen). The key is a personalized plan that aligns lab values with symptoms, then coordinating with a physician to implement complex dosing across thyroid and sex hormones.
610. Digestion, Detox Pathways and Hormone Balance and Why You NEED to Poop Daily
Q: How should we approach the use of peptides and GLP-1s in this context?
Peptides and GLP-1s can be useful but should be approached cautiously: they should be microdosed and used only after foundational gut health, detox pathways, and overall metabolic health are optimized; otherwise they may fail to deliver results or worsen existing issues. The hosts advocate prioritizing gut and detox first, then consider cellular health and targeted peptides as a supplementary boost.
610. Digestion, Detox Pathways and Hormone Balance and Why You NEED to Poop Daily
Q: What are the biggest issues in digestion and gut health that affect thyroid and hormone balance?
The discussion emphasizes that many issues start with digestion and gut function—things like constipation, poor nutrient absorption, and gut permeability—so a thorough gut-focused assessment and tailored strategies are needed before targeting hormones or adding peptides. Testing helps identify underlying causes such as pathogens, bacterial overgrowth, or enzyme deficiencies, which then informs diet, liver support, and lifestyle interventions.
BONUS. Why You’re Tired Even After 8 Hours of Sleep
Q: What are some common disruptors of sleep?
Racing thoughts, environmental noise, and not allowing downtime before bed are some key disruptors.
