Dopey Podcast is the world’s greatest podcast on drugs, addiction and dumb shit. Chris and I were two IV heroin addicts who loved to talk about all the coke we smoked, snorted and shot, all the pills we ate, smoked, all the weed we smoked and ate, all the booze we consumed and all the consequences we suffered. After making the show for 2 and a half years, Chris tragically relapsed and died from a ... more

Dave’s open mind, empathy and calm voice, plus funny humor are soothing entertainment. I didn’t expect to learn as much as I have. Love the guests, too!
Good show, keep going. People will feel what they feel. I liked getting to know a little about Nick after such a horrid thing happened. It’s natural curiosity, shock, empathy, and it will never make sense anyways.
This dude tells the Truth. Thank you Billy. Man, survive. Keep going. I pray for your healing and truth telling ways. Addiction hits so many of us. Thank you for telling the truth. Peace Brother.
Another great episode!
I can’t wait for another appearance by Steve Poltz.
I hope Dave talks to Steve about his old Rugburn band days.
Dopey has completely changed my life. It gave me a place where I truly feel like I fit in. It showed me I wasn’t alone in this. That I could make meaningful relationships with people all over the world that have been down the exact same path as me. It showed me that recovery can be fun and exciting and that there are many different ways to do it. I will be forever grateful to Dave and Chris.
