This great interviewer, while keeping things light, heavy, fun, funny, (and above all) MOVING for us Sober/Clean folks to be highly entertained (even during the ads), is unfortunately a (imo) a card carrying über Lib with Socialistic tendencies. Listening to the now-deceased Wayne Kramer blather on about Social Justice anti prison (ever invite a convicted murderer to live in YOUR home? Me neither) made me wanna shoot up through both eyeballs … though that’s most likely already been talked about ... more
I discovered your podcast when my friend and I were telling stories of all the drugs we had snorted, smoked, shelved and injected and the crazy adventures we would go on. I have been binge listening whilst at work. I am up to episode 51 and cannot get enough. You guys had such great banter and can always make me laugh. I am dreading the podcast where Chris passes. Keep strong Dave. Just another recovering junkie from Sydney Australia.
Move over Smartless and Conan because Dopey is now my favourite podcast of all time. This show’s journey and the community it’s built is unlike anything else. Listen to it all-it’s fascinating and hilarious and it might change your life. At very least you’ll laugh hard and hear some unbelievable stories.
So good
Extremely relatable and hilarious. I find it very normalizing which I know is comforting for me . I believe you help people get through the good times and bad times . Support , guiding assisting people while their gaining sober time and slipping up and relapsing. Thanks for all you do I appreciate you and the community you help create ! Shame Chris & Todd are not still around for where and what it’s all become ! Keep on keeping on!
