  • Emotional Sobriety

I’m so grateful I found this podcast when looking for guidance about an alcoholic friend also diagnosed late in life as on the autism spectrum. Then as I continued listening I found such similar ways of thinking about my own sobriety, and, most recently, your episode on dealing with difficult people. Humbling and eye opening. It’s really helped me see where I continue to play a role. Thank you!

Q: What do you think about Brad Pitt's public relapse after years of sobriety?

Q: What would you say to that woman a year ago who was standing where you were?
Encouragement to persevere, with emphasis on belief that change is possible, to trust the process, and to commit to ongoing work rather than waiting for a magical solution, because progress accumulates and life on the other side is markedly better.
