Gillian is the most educated person about alcohol science I’ve come across. Every show is meticulously researched. I used to say “if I COULD drink in moderation I would” but honestly now drinking is no longer even appealing to me. It is wild how much this podcast series changed my perspective and honestly probably my life. Thank you Gillian.
This has been my go-to podcast on my sober journey. Understanding the science and how drinking affects the brain truly keeps me from drinking. Thanks for all of your research and information!
This is by far my favorite sobriety podcast. Instead of binge drinking, I’m binging these episodes. I’m so glad I found this show. Thank you Gill for making this podcast!!!
I’ve been listening to your podcasts for a few months now and only just now getting around to rating (sorry). Yours has been my go-to podcast since I first listened. I love the thorough science and breadth of topics you cover and I admire the personal courage you show and the hope that you gift listeners.
This podcast has been such a blessing in journey to sobriety and validates all my feelings when it comes to my relationship with alcohol. Just when I think I can drink casually, Gill always comes in with a kicker comment or reminder of what’s going on in my brain and that I wouldn’t keep listening to her podcast regularly if I truly could handle my booze. Each episode gives me another layer of armor when I’m temped to drink again.
