Thank you Anne for sharing your deeply intimate journey. I was very emotional throughout because I shared the same mindset and until discovering this podcast and hearing your story, I had not heard of another example that mapped onto my lived experiences. Your words have forever blessed me. The morning after Mother’s Day I knew I was ready and a wave of peace has been over me since. Thank you Coach Cole, Maxine and Annie Grace for your encouraging podcast. I love Annie’s books and podcasts. I am sober free since 11/9/25. I am a member of the nonprofit organization Sober Sis since December 2024. I joined to moderate and realized I couldn’t moderate. I love waking up each morning feeling good, energized and hopeful.
Whenever a coach recommends “visualisation” as a tool, telling you how powerful and amazing it is, etc etc, please consider that there are people, albeit a small percentage, who literally don’t have a mind’s eye. It’s so frustrating and upsetting to have this ability assumed. It just makes me feel alone and on the outside once again, and not able to be included. Listening to the episode “From Flat to Fulfilled” is one such example. Please please please educate your coaches on this. Thank you.
