I have been helped tremendously by Dr. Deb’s podcast and her classes. She really gets what women think in their heads, and helps me to identify thoughts that no longer work for me. She is kind and compassionate but holds me accountable and challenges my distorted thinking. There’s a ton of coaches out there but Dr. Deb is the one who has helped me the most. Her teaching method is easy to understand, and easy to implement in real life.
Disappointed she changed her format from giving useful information to just giving tidbits as part of one ongoing sales pitch for her classes and programs. Don't mind some selling but most of the whole episodes are now just ongoing sales pitches with little teaching content about the topic. There are many other coache podcasts similar to hers that come out of brooke castillo weight loss teachings that are available to listen to instead that spend most of the episode teaching ideas rather th... more
Dr. Deb’s approach to eat when you’re hungry and stop when you’re full is life changing. Rely on your own body connection and learn to trust yourself around food. It really is as easy as doing what Dr. Deb says. We just need to get all the noise out of our heads, pay attention to our bodies and learn to not eat our emotions. I highly recommend the podcast, classes and all the tools Dr. Deb offers!! They work!!
Dr. Deb’s unique style of addressing the brain/body connection in my weight loss journey has been the most effective approach that I have ever experienced. Her no nonsense, in-depth teachings of how thoughts and feelings drive behaviour has been a life changer for me. I think about food much differently now, and it’s a practice that will become my way of life. Kudos to Dr. Deb! Very grateful for her!
