Dr Deb is absolutely amazing and everything she says makes sense. She helps you understand that it’s a process and that you aren’t ever failing , you are just learning every day and the more you implement her plan the easier it gets and the more free you will feel. She will help you end the crazy cycle of deprivation and restriction followed by over indulgence.

Dr. Deb speaks to a voice inside women who have battled a relationship between food and body. Her podcast and her coaching have changed my life and unburdened me from that difficult relationship. The loneliness I felt prior to listening to this podcast, and ultimately using her as a coach, has been alleviated and I feel more confidant now. She has been an important gift in my life.

I stumbled on this podcast about 2 years ago and I’m so thankful I did! Dr Deb helps women get to the root of the issue with food and weight issues especially during menopause. Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 529: Dr. Deb Butler on Susan LoPresti's Wellness Mind Body Soul Podcast
Q: How do you get to the point where you realize this is the reason you're eating when you're not hungry?
By working with a coach and paying attention to both the internal signals (hunger, fullness, emotions) and the stories the brain tells about food, which helps you uncover under-the-surface triggers that drive eating. It starts with recognizing the pattern, measuring urges on a scale, and practicing self-compassion while exploring the underlying thoughts.
Ep 530: MVP: The Freedom Of No Longer Feeling Controlled By Food with Michelle
Q: What was the turning point that convinced you this approach could actually help you?
She describes a moment when a recent episode suggested letting go of the burden permanently, which ignited the belief that she could achieve relief from shame and fear about weight and food by taking action, leading to the decision to work with Deb Butler.
Ep 530: MVP: The Freedom Of No Longer Feeling Controlled By Food with Michelle
Q: What made you go from being a listener to the podcast, to decide to set up a mini-session and hire me?
Michelle explains that after years of listening and trying to apply insights, she realized she needed more than just listening; she wanted direct, structured support to implement the tools consistently, culminating in a belief that she deserved to feel better and that investing in herself was worth it.
Ep. 528: Train Your Brain With Or Without Medication — Day 1
Q: How strong are the urges in the evening for some listeners?
They can range high (seven to nine) for many people, especially when fatigue and routines make it hard to stay mindful; the host emphasizes tracking urges and applying the three-step process to regain control.
Ep. 524: Menopause Weight Gain Treatment Options with Dr. Lindsay Shirreff
Q: How do you decide when you're recommending hormones for a patient going through menopause?
The decision is symptom-driven and individualized, not lab-based; clinicians assess overall health, risk factors, and whether systemic or local hormone therapy best fits the patient's symptoms and medical history.
