  • Episode #382 is outstanding

I love the Mel Robbins podcast. It’s streets ahead of other motivational podcasts. Her zingy persona is joyful and almost every podcast is genuinely useful. But episode #382 is a standout. This is on gut health and it smashes other attempts at covering this important topic. It’s a must-listen.

  • Stop interrupting

Great guests but need Mel to stop interrupting them. Comes across very condescending when she repeats what they’re saying to the viewers. Have some more faith in the intelligence of your listeners.

  • Great - Mostly

I think Mel is a great interviewer and is good at getting clarification throughout the show. However, she tends to interrupt and cutoff the guest a lot which gets very frustrating at times because you really want to hear the answer & advice but sometimes it gets lost. 😞

The Gut Health Episode: Harvard Doctor Reveals What’s Normal (and What’s Not)
Q: How is normal bowel movement defined, and what range should people expect?
Normal varies widely; frequency can range from three times a day to once every three days, and the form should be comfortable and not require excessive straining; fiber intake will influence consistency and ease of passage.
The Gut Health Episode: Harvard Doctor Reveals What’s Normal (and What’s Not)
Q: What is the gut specifically and how should we think about it medically?
The gut runs from the mouth to the anus and functions as more than digestion—it's an immune organ, hormone producer, and central to the gut-brain axis; understanding this reframes treatment from a brain-centric approach to one that also targets gut function.
