  • A Simple Fiber…part 2

This was one of your best shows ever! In fact, you should do a second. You asked the questions we all have but don’t have the opportunity to ask an expert. Please, please record a second show.. I have additional questions and I’m sure other listeners do too. For example, how important is chewing your food for digestion? How to do the detective work when you have a BM that doesn’t seem quite right, etc. keep up the good work, Mel!

Q: What is lucid dreaming and how can you train it?
Lucid dreaming is waking inside a dream with awareness, and it can be trained by setting an alarm to wake during late REM, staying groggy, and using dream signs plus the power of suggestion to fall back into the dream.
#1 Neuroscientist: How to Unlock the Power of Your Mind Using The Science of Dreaming
Q: How could my life be different based on what you're about to teach us?
Understanding that we spend a third of our life dreaming, you can influence dreams to improve creativity, emotional balance, and problem-solving, then apply those insights to waking life.
How to Master Any Conversation, Communicate With Confidence, and Deal With Difficult People
Q: Oz, how would you describe what you do?
I perform tricks that look like mind reading but are actually skillful cues and psychology, aimed at creating memorable moments and guiding attention, while always keeping it clear that there is no real psychic power involved.
Change Your Body at Any Age: The Diet & Exercise Plan For a Longer Life
Q: If the listener has been doing everything but still not seeing changes, what should they audit first about their lifestyle?
Start with sleep: aim for seven and a half to nine hours, get bright light within 30 minutes of waking for 15 to 30 minutes, maintain a consistent wake time, avoid eating close to bedtime, and limit alcohol at night to protect sleep quality.
How to Handle Difficult People: 7 Psychological Tricks to Read Anyone, Spot a Liar & Stay in Control
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about the training and what you learned in terms of detecting whether or not people are lying?
Training covered biology, psychology, and interviewing with a strong emphasis on understanding behavior, building a baseline, and recognizing indicators like how someone accesses memories and responds to questions; the goal is to gather information and assess rather than force a confession.
