This podcast has been a life saver in more ways than I can say. I just had my surgery on April 16th, and I listened to many episodes leading up to it to ease my fears and know what to expect. Since the surgery, I have continued to listen and the episodes continue to encourage me, keep me grounded in reality, and help me make good choices for future success. I recently had my second hip replacement surgery and am so happy that I found this podcast. It’s not about “surviving” a hip replacement, but rather “thriving” after the surgery. When I heard that the host completed two Ironman Triathlons after his surgeries I knew I was in the right place. I found a kindred spirit here as I pursue my goals of a Boston Qualifying Marathon in the coming years.
