  • Love this podcast. It's based in science, it covers a very wide range of topics. It is a bit pushy on their Daily 30 product but that's ok. It's advice has changed my life.

  • Used to be good

This podcast started off being informative. Now it’s just one big advert for daily 30. The latest podcast for 5 nutrition changes regarding subjects who followed the Zoe way for 6 weeks was a complete waste of listening time, and again just an advert for their own product.

  • Extremely harmful content.

Absolutely awful. Fasting to such extremes? No, explicitly describing an eating disorder. Unbelievably toxic and harmful. People end up in hospital by fasting in this way over time. I worry for the impressionable people listening to this, who are predisposed to eating disorders such an Anorexia, or have a history of the illness. If anyone is listening to this, particularly with a history of an eating disorder please know that eating breakfast, alongside your 3 meals a day and snacks is essential... more

  • Not realistic

I’ve listened to most of the Zoe podcast, I’ve taken lots of advice about gut health and good nutrition so it’s not been a waste. However, no one, unless you’re obsessed, have all the time and money in the world can live a life as clean as Zoe. Your app and products are not for normal working class people as they are way too expensive and yet it’s those very people who need your help the most. Listening to your podcast can give me anxiety because I think my body must be so damaged with the foods... more

How 'boosting' your immune system increases inflammation and 4 ways to support balance instead | Dr Giulia Enders
Q: Should I exercise while sick, and what types of exercise are best for immune balance?
It's generally not advised to push hard when sick, but regular exercise strengthens the immune system long-term; both strength training and moderate aerobic activity have distinct benefits for circulation, brain receptors, and inflammation balance.
How 'boosting' your immune system increases inflammation and 4 ways to support balance instead | Dr Giulia Enders
Q: What should I do if I have a cold—are there medicines that interrupt the immune response in a harmful way?
There is nuance; decongestants can help when symptoms are severe, but medicines that slow gut motility or blunt fever or inflammation should be used judiciously and only when necessary.
How 'boosting' your immune system increases inflammation and 4 ways to support balance instead | Dr Giulia Enders
Q: Is boosting your immune system a good idea?
Not necessarily; the guest emphasizes balance over sheer strength, noting that most of the benefits come from everyday healthy habits rather than trying to supercharge immunity.
How 'boosting' your immune system increases inflammation and 4 ways to support balance instead | Dr Giulia Enders
Q: Does drinking coke increase your risk of rheumatoid arthritis?
Yes, according to the guest, there is evidence linking high sugar intake to increased inflammation and higher risk of autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis over the long term.
Should you take Ozempic? The 5 things you need to know before starting GLP-1 drugs | Dr Ania Jastreboff
Q: What are these GLP-1 drugs and how do they work?
They are medications that treat obesity by acting on nutrient-stimulated hormones and receptors in the brain and periphery to recalibrate the body's fat set point, with additional effects in organs like the pancreas and liver.
