Dr Paulina was so professional she sidestepped all the misogyny in society, sports & medical world especially the parlous state of research-still!Am strong & athletic & was fortunate that am old enough to have done up to 2 hours of sport a day @ school as a teen & could now.
I would listen to anything Dr Chris or Dr Xand decide to put into the world, and the work Chris has done on UPF truly changed my life. I’ve been enjoying so many episodes of this podcast but especially the one about hips with Dr Paulina Kloskowska - she was amazing and my goodness I feel seen! Keep up the good work and I’ll keep recommending everything you do to everyone I know!

Which brings me to four topics I would love to learn more about - Listening vs Hearing (mental c... more

This show blends accessible health science with practical how-tos, featuring discussions that balance expert insight with lighthearted banter. Topics commonly cover physiology, disease, nutrition, and behavior, with guests who are researchers, clinicians, or science communicators. Across episodes, the hosts probe claims, explain complex research, and translate findings into everyday actions, often challenging wellness industry hype while staying engaging and human. A notable strength is the duo's dynamic: informed, skeptical, and personable, which helps listeners navigate conflicting health headlines and apply evidence to daily life.
