Dr newson is an amazing pioneer, pushing for us women to be listened to and respected by an industry who, not that long ago, locked us up or lobotomised us due to what were often hormonal issues. And all this without selling us programs and diet plans and supplements and all the branded “must haves” others do. She genuinely cares, so thank you
I am one of millions of women in our 60s who missed out on the potential benefits of hormone therapy during perimenopause. Now, I can’t find someone to prescribe a hormone patch because I’m more than 10 years past menopause. How can I find a research study to be a part of to show that hormone therapy beyond 60s can be safe and effective in managing the musculoskeletal syndrome of menopause?
Recommend by my therapist as your discussion with your daughter resonated with regards to my own experience of chronic illness. Hearing someone else say the thoughts that I’ve had was reassuring. A superb conversation
So much misinformation in the episode about glp-1’s that it’s hard to take anything she says seriously
Thank you so much Dr Newson, for all your excellent content, for explaining things so well, for helping everybody to increase their knowledge! I share these podcasts with friends and family, so more people discover this! X x
