I love that Louise is spreading the truth and evidence back research about hormones and menopause.
This is a brilliant podcast for women who can often feel isolated in different stages of their life. However, episode 70 as well intentioned as it is, I can’t help but feel disappointed that the latest episode is fundamentally a man validating the experience of perimenopause. We shouldn’t need this to be the case.
Thank you Dr Louise Newson for continuing to find answers and understand what women need. You’re truly a gem!
Excellent podcast . Just woken and listened to this podcast and it just sums up everything needed to live your best life ! Louise reinforces the need for our hormones to be balanced so vital to how we age. Liz talks about the importance of looking after our mitochondria with simple shifts in our daily routines.
Sky before screens - I love this !
Dr. Newson is relentless in her desire to educate and empower women. As a US Urologist, who has been in this area for over 15 years because of personal family issues. Dr Newson has been an early and consistent leader, to the detriment of her own practice, speaking out about the discrepancies between male and female care not just in Great Britain, but across the world. I am greatly appreciative to her deep insight and willingness to think outside of the medical dogma, which is often wrong.
