  • Inaccurate, dangerous claims

Claims that long covid can be explained by psychosomatic theories. This is contrary to the huge body of science demonstrating the physiological underpinnings of long covid. Please do better! More scientific rigour is needed in this podcast.

The 5 Most Important Biomarkers That Influence Your Health & How To Live Better For Longer with Dr Florence Comite #666
Q: How often should someone track these five biomarkers and why?
Ideally at least twice a year, more often if needed, to observe trends and adjust lifestyle or treatment accordingly; annual checks are insufficient for meaningful change.
The 5 Most Important Biomarkers That Influence Your Health & How To Live Better For Longer with Dr Florence Comite #666
Q: What do you mean by aging and how should we think about it as individuals?
Aging should be viewed as a predictable biological process that we can influence through monitoring biomarkers, lifestyle choices, and targeted therapies to maintain vitality rather than simply accept decline.
The Science of Deep Rest: How Relaxation Calms Stress & Slows Ageing with Dr Elissa Epel #668
Q: What practical steps can listeners take before bed to promote blue mind?
Leave devices in another room, create a calming sensory environment, use lavender aromatherapy, do restorative poses, and practice slow breathing to lower arousal and support restorative sleep.
The Science of Deep Rest: How Relaxation Calms Stress & Slows Ageing with Dr Elissa Epel #668
Q: How do the red, yellow, green, and blue mind states map to daily life?
Red is acute stress, yellow is low-grade chronic stress, green is relaxed engagement, and blue is deep rest; moving through these states with awareness and practice can optimize stress fitness.
The Science of Deep Rest: How Relaxation Calms Stress & Slows Ageing with Dr Elissa Epel #668
Q: What is stress, and why does it have such a strong effect on our biology?
Stress is a neurobiological response designed to mobilize energy and adapt to demands; chronic exposure damages telomeres and accelerates aging, whereas understanding and labeling stress states helps us shift toward restorative processes.
