Q: What instruments did you play and what were you doing in your programs? And what theories did you connect to?

Ep 107 Anita Connell at the AMTA Conference Part 2
Q: Thank you so much for talking to us today. Could we start, Grace, with just what got you into music therapy? Why are you doing what you do? The bit of your career trajectory and just talk us through that.
Grace describes starting music therapy in the 1990s, entering with classical training, influenced by mentors, and gradually focusing on children and family-centered practice, combining clinical work with later research to document outcomes and shift the field toward more collaborative, home- and community-based interventions.
