  • Absorbing even if you don't know the interviewee

Enough about what a brilliant interviewer John is (he is) and a well deserved round of applause for whoever chooses the interviewees (might also be John...who knows?). I saw this week's episode pop up on my feed and thought Philippa York? Who? Just a brilliant interviewee, that's who, with an incredible and utterly absorbing story. Funny, self deprecating, frank...I enjoyed this episode so much. Thank you.

  • Jordan Stephens episode is magnificent

This podcast is consistently good - always thought provoking and insightful. I never really write reviews but the Jordan Stephens episode was so good I felt compelled to write this review in the hope of swaying anyone, but men in particular, to listen to that episode in particular. Well done and thank you John and Jordan.

  • Sensitive, insightful and inspiring

I knew John Robins was a good guy - he is a massive Queen fan, after all. His thoughtful, active listening and tangible empathy makes this one of the most inspiring podcasts that I listen to. He is willing to draw on his own experiences and self-development journey when interviewing a fantastic range of guests. As a trainee therapist, I’ve really learned so much from these humorous, deep and powerful conversations.
