  • Not the cleanest washing machine

I’ve been a fan of this show since the very first episode and it has fast become my second favourite podcast. I was doing some chores today whilst listening to Susie McCabe describe the cleanliness of her washing machine. I started feeling slightly guilty about not showing mine enough care and attention when there was an enormous bang, the machine began to shake and smoke started billowing out of the detergent drawer. I quickly unplugged it and got someone round to check it over, all the while c... more

  • Lovely

It’s just a lovely pod - and that’s really down to two very likeable presenters. It’s like a brain-break (in a good way.)

  • Right OK you’ve got me hooked

I’m reluctant to note the many reasons why I love this podcast in case Max turns it into another list based quiz which ultimately ends after months of speculating with an anti-climatic shrug and move-on.

Who knew wittering on about what folk can remember about the day before would be so compelling?

I’ve not been in since the start (but had to go back and listen from the start to appreciate the origins of many of the regular features) but will remain IN IT FOR LIFE.
