    I call it Rhlstp!

How does Richard Herring fit it all in? He seems to be sharing new material with us day in, day out. I enjoy it when he brings elements from his other podcasts, too. Richard is a podcasting veteran, and as a result, listeners can expect quality.

Thank you for introducing us to so many comedians over the years.

  • Award-Winning Comedy/Interview Pod

The original ‘comedian talking to a guest’ pod and still the best. For 15 years RHLSTP has set the benchmark as guests including Bob Mortimer, Michael Palin, James Acaster talk candidly.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Paul Tonkinson on Running Through Sand - Book Club
Q: So tell us what the book is all about.
The book chronicles the author's journey through preparation for a desert ultra, the brutal realities of the Marathon des Sables, and the existential reflections on aging, masculinity, and creativity that emerge from that extreme experience.
Rosalie Minnitt - "Greggs Chicken Bake"
Q: Tell us about the character Clementine and how it was developed for Edinburgh.
Rosalie explains that Clementine began as a Regency parody but evolved into a powerful, uncompromising persona that reflected gender issues and audience reactions; the character helped her learn to write and perform in the moment, while also challenging expectations around what is acceptable on stage.
Count Binface (Retro) - "House of Losers"
Q: What are your favorite promises if you are elected?
Binface highlights concrete ideas like price-capping croissants, tying MPs' wages to nurses' salaries for 100 years, and building at least one affordable house, while also weaving in satirical takes on broader reforms.
Mitch Benn (Part 2) - "Two Large Fifty-Something Tiny Tims"
Q: What's the best and worst freebies you've ever had?
He shared experiences of freebies, such as freebies from tickets and travel, including anecdotes about free tickets and travel accommodations; he also joked about the value and sometimes the disappointment of freebies.
Mitch Benn (Part 2) - "Two Large Fifty-Something Tiny Tims"
Q: Have you ever tried to suck your own cock, Mitch Benn?
No, I have not.
