Jeez, sometimes you expect something other as well as ads when you listen to podcasts, or even a host (Ed) who is slightly likeable. But no, all you get is an idiot talking about wine for too long and constant, lying-through-your-teeth advertising from a fake-smiling goon and a stroppy teenager. And James is far too predictable to remain funny for more than 2 and a 1/2 minutes.
Great hosts and guests, just all around a good show.
Hi Ed & James,
I really enjoyed the episode I’m a big fan of Chris, and the interview was brilliant. Loved the chat about food and drink too!
Chris, your choices were fantastic … although I’m not quite sure about the Pot Noodle sandwich 😂 I even know someone who adds grated cheese on top of their Pot Noodle 🤢 And yes, I personally love cranberry sauce with mint sauce on everything!
This podcast is such a great balance of funny, interesting, soothing and entertaining. The variety of guests is great and I’ve become a bit addicted to the vibe between ‘the boys’.
Def worth a listen if you want chill, interesting comedy. 🍓🫐🥥🥑🥦🥐🧀
Saturday Kitchen (6/12/2025) demonstrates what’s happened with these two guys over the last couple of years. Ed’s career is going to move into the multiple planes (Traitors, quiz, comedy, stand up , panel). He has this charismatic personality that takes you with him and yet makes the audience think they are the most importantly,
where as James still comes across as a posh angry teenager where there is no avenue to take it forward ( James you are definitely not Rick Mayall)!
