It’s fine to not be on top when there’s no taskmaster on TV. I’d rather there be a regular hiatus, which would make the return even... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Taskmaster The Podcast Rewind - Series 3 Ep3. With Katy Wix
Q: Do you think the contestants were playing to a TV-friendly spectacle or to the letter of the brief?
There was a mix, with some players leaning into spectacle and others focusing on cleverness and practicality; the show rewards both, but the best moments balance ingenuity with a narrative that makes the audience cheer for the recipient.
Taskmaster The Podcast Rewind - Series 3 Ep3. With Katy Wix
Q: What would you have done for the 20 pounds Taskmaster gift challenge?
We explored ideas like buying something practical for Greg that would still be surprising in the moment, such as a timely food delivery or a box of Greg-themed gag gifts, and considered pushing the budget with a big, unexpected item to stand out.
Taskmaster Live on Stage - Washington D.C.
Q: What about the live tapings would be most surprising to someone who has only watched the show on TV?
They mention that tapings can last two and a half hours or more, which is surprising for an audience.
Taskmaster Live on Stage - Washington D.C.
Q: Would you go to space?
Both Greg and Alex express interest in going to space.
Taskmaster The Podcast Rewind - Series 2 Ep 4. With Kerry Godliman
Q: Who do you think is going to be your biggest competition on the Champion of Champions competition?
Ed, because everyone I've spoken to said it's Ed. Look out for Ed.
