  • Lost their way

This podcast used to be completely different to main and original podcast…interviews with fans and behind the scenes stuff. Now it’s basically a copy of the other show so I hear almost the same commentary from Jack and Jenny as I hear from Ed and his guests.

Surely we don’t need both covering the same ground? Isn’t that what set this podcast out to be different?

It’s no longer “the people’s podcast” as it’s released after the main podcast it just feels needlessly repetitive.

After Dinner Speech with Special Guest Ania Magliano
Q: So are you saying that you felt like you really wanted to get into that Champion of Champions so that you could win it for the girls?
Kind of. I didn't want the chance for it to be a nonstop white guys' outcome.

I was so surprised and delighted because it seemed like something that wouldn't happen for years.
Cheeky Boy Tim - S1, Ep.1

The hosts noted the lack of props and how the bones of the show were strong yet different in terms of structure, audience engagement, and presentation style.
Demolition Takes a Little Bit of Time - S19, Ep.4
Q: Are you over in the UK at the moment? What have you done in your time? Have you done any Taskmastery things?
Mostly I came for the football match that Alex does every year out in Cheshire.

Q: How did you get into Taskmaster?
I think like many during COVID, looking for things to do and watch, and a friend actually recommended James Acaster's specials on Netflix.
