  • Half is adverts

V annoying. Fearne should just talk about herself without a guest because she does that already rather than talk to the guests.

  • Too many ads

I do enjoy the conversation but the amount of ads is getting ridiculous. I don't know any other podcast with so many ads. Maybe a bit less greedy?

  • JUST A PODCAST OF ADVERTS!

    ⭐☆☆☆☆

I came to this podcast expecting thoughtful conversations that would genuinely help people improve their wellbeing. Instead, it feels like every episode is interrupted by a relentless stream of advertisements, sponsorships, and product promotions.

The irony is hard to miss. A podcast built around happiness, mindfulness, and mental wellbeing often leaves me feeling like I’m being marketed to rather than supported. Beneath the warm and uplifting messaging, it increasingly feels like a high... more

  • Brilliant, but…

What you do for people on the outside, is incredible. The amount of times I have been in tears it feels like therapy sometimes, but… I do understand you need to make a living and it’s your time and company but do we need 18 minutes of Adverts? 18 minutes!!! That’s more than an hour episode on ITV. It’s crazy. My thump got sore from skipping so much. It’s very hard to do one handed on a dog walk! Please think about it.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Book Club Meets: Tradwives and the manosphere, with Caro Claire Burke
Q: Have you got any tips? What would you tell people who are in the position of wanting to write their debut fiction?
You have to keep going, write for a long time, and believe in yourself even when faced with rejection; continue exploring multiple projects, because you never know which one will truly land.
Book Club Meets: Tradwives and the manosphere, with Caro Claire Burke
Q: You've got sort of internalized misogyny going on. Was there an initial one that you were like, I want to write about this?
No. The themes weren't planned; I started from the conceit of a woman waking up in a different time period, and the other themes emerged organically as Natalie's voice found its path.
Book Club Meets: Rekindling intimacy in marriage, with Josie Lloyd and Emlyn Rees
Q: When you were passing the manuscript between each other, was there ever a moment where either of you read the other person's chapter and said, no, no, that can't happen?
Yes, there were a couple of moments where one would call out a line or a joke, but generally the process was about surprising each other and letting the scenes unfold with honesty, while maintaining respect for the other writer's voice.
“I was overweight and unhappy!” Liz Earle’s perimenopause and midlife reinvention
Q: If you could go back to your 40s and give your younger self three pieces of advice, what would they be?
Prioritize daylight, improve sleep routines, and lighten up—embrace new possibilities, stay curious, and invest in yourself so your cells respond positively over time.
Poorna Bell: "Women want more, not more to do!" How to put yourself first
Q: What is the first step, if you're lacking in confidence to making a change in the right direction?
Having a support system around you is really important, and it begins with a decision that you have to make yourself before you do anything, focusing on determining what you want your life to look like.
