    Dan Hall’s subtle survey of the HIV landscape packs a huge punch. Fed entirely by personal stories, not statistics or headlines, it not only reminding us how brutal and ignorant much early treatment of those with HIV were but how that brutality continues in sweeping aid cuts to countries where the diagnosis is still often a death sentence. It is not only making me feel my age but reminding me how lucky I am to be alive.
