  • Great podcast, however…

Very good podcast with good content and commentary. Insightful and useful.

However, the line between content and advertising is blurring so much it’s getting even more difficult to tell the difference between what Alastair and Rory are performing paid advertising and what is content. I don’t like the weak clarity between what is content and what is paid advertising.

  • Unbalanced

The ‘Spin Doctor’ continuing to spin a socialist agenda with greater vigour by being economical with the truth, presenting incorrect “Facts” and outright aggressiveness towards anyone with an alternative viewpoint. Unable to comprehend and rationally debate why majority of the UK population feel disenfranchised or to accept failings of current government. Rory provides the academic, intellectual, historical perspective for global discussion topics. On the plus side (hence the 1 star) highlights ... more

This podcast continues to evolve. Considerably more adverts. Rory’s now in full on GPT headline mode I.e. surface level facts aplenty / “I’m well clever” and Alistair bless him, doesn’t even know what he’s doing when he’s going it. Like some kind of BTec AI with a Trump problem. I’ll continue to listen though. In the same way I listen to James O’Brien. Keep ‘em close. X

Q: Do you both use AI software in your day-to-day lives?
Yes, particularly Rory, who expresses concern that it may be impairing cognitive abilities.
444. Question Time: Can Labour Reinvent Itself?
Q: In light of the reform leader of Nottinghamshire County Council banning local journalists from speaking to him or members of his party, do you worry like me that with the expected increase in reform local and national politicians, that it's the start of the slide to Trumpism?
Yes, it is. Richard Tice is saying that they have the right to decide who they talk to, which is totally Trumpian.
438. Inside the Trump-Putin Summit: What Really Happened in Alaska?
Q: What was your reaction when the press conference finally happened?
The press conference revealed a lack of clarity on any deals, which led me to believe it was a disaster from Trump's perspective.
437. Question Time: Farage vs Corbyn: The UK's Next Prime Minister?
Q: In the scenario where Labour became as unpopular as the Tories were prior to the last election, it's coming down to Corbyn versus Farage. Who would you vote for?
Despite being expelled by him, I did at one point vote for Jeremy Corbyn to be prime minister. So probably narrowly, I'd go with Corbyn.
