Most biased political podcast I’ve ever heard, apart from the main show.
When you think you’ve set your phone to play The News Agents, and the Sports Agents plays instead. By then I’m driving and can’t change it. Put pic of Gabby when it’s Sports.
What a terrible vanity project this is. The smugness and pandering to the Democrats, the denigration of conservatives and of Trump in particular was insufferable…but today after the election it is karma for you lot. If you think your show is credible you need a massive reset.
Maitlis and Sopel have certainly left any vestige of balanced reporting at the doors of the BBC. This podcast simply extols the virtues of Harris / Biden and refuses to engage with any of the reasons why reasonable Americans (you’d think 50% of the vote might contain some of these) might vote for Trump. They don’t understand Trump and his appeal to some and don’t seem to care. For example Maitlis confidently asserts for months that Trump will definitely pick a female VP (wrong as usual).
What’s the point of this podcast? The team behind it produces another pod, with more content about the USA than they can be bothered to put into this one. There they cast about the USA daily, here they can only manage content once a week.
