  • Correction needed

In this week’s episode (20.09.25) Emily claimed that Isreal wants to end the genocide in Gaza as much as Hamas do. Not true! It is well documented that BB wants to continue the killing and occupying to maintain his grip on power AND avoid the consequences of his corruption. Please correct this.

  • Informative and enjoyable

Without Goodhall, we get to enjoy Jon and Emily bringing their rich insights to US politics, unhindered by his tabloid rantings. Good guests too always makes this a highlight of my week

  • Nowhere near as good as the original UK version sadly with Lewis' influence on both Emily and Jon being sorely missed. Although they both are excellent journalists and interviewers, both sometimes lack the American nuance that you get from other podcasts like The Rest is Politics USA which I would recommend instead. Definitely still worth listening but don't rely on it for a genuine view of American politics.

  • Overall a good listen

They nearly lost me with the Steve Bannon episode recently, the chummy lack of pushback made me feel nauseous. Also, they are sailing close to ‘tabloidy’ with the breathless incredulity at every one of Trump’s increasingly tiresome antics. But, overall, it’s an interesting listen from three switched on journos.
