It’s entertaining and raises good points, but compared to The Rest is Politics it’s more chaotic. It lacks the wider perspectives and nuanced conversations of the UK-based original.
Even with regard to the US, it’s lacks a wider lens on the world. Most episodes are rants about Trump’s activity that are already in the top headlines. We don’t hear very much about congressional or state politics.
I’m in agreement with other listeners who feel not everyone can afford paid subscriptions and that the upselling is insufferable.
I’m a big Bulwark fan and pay for a few premium subscriptions and the other podcasts do a better with their adds. I enjoy the edibles adds on Pod Save the World, tempted!
Great chemistry between these presenters. Usually balanced insight. I like to listen to a broad spectrum of opinions and don’t always agree with everything concluded, but they make it entertaining and analytical.

On the recent show you just did what you’re arguing against. Taking Charlie Kirk’s comments about black pilots and the civil rights act out of the context of the actual conversation within which he made them, just feeds the same polarisation that you rightly highlight as a big problem.
Can’t listen to this podcast anymore since scaramucci gave a ringing endorsement of KKKirk.
