The U.S. president has hailed a “historic dawn of a new Middle East” on the day the last 20 living hostages were returned by Hamas to Israel, and almost 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees were also released. It was an integral part of the peac... more
There is a new deal on the table for universities in America. After months of fighting with the Trump administration over funding cuts, free speech and allegations of elitism and racism, the new deal is being offered to a select group of universities... more

Yet more shallow chirpy whitewashing of Trump’s authoritarian agenda. You take what Susie Wiles says as dependable commentary?
He will act instead in his own best interests, narcissistic, capricious, vindictive, thin-skinned and malevolent. No fact checking or scrutiny of the obvious lies peppering his comments- eg the wars he has stopped, Azer, Baijan and Albania! The usual bile about Biden. Kimmel mocked him- which is now a grave sackable offence. He hates most of all being mocked and the Rig... more
I love Sarah and Justin, but can we please lose Marianna as she brings nothing to the podcast.
I check first to see if she is contributing then decide whether to listen or not.
I find her childish and lacking in the experience needed for a political podcast.
This is OK but would be much better without Justin. His thinly veiled contempt for Marianne is not acceptable. She seems to attract a lot of criticism in these reviews from the stuffy trad Beeb audience, but underneath the seemingly superficial style there is substance, and social media is such a crucial factor in Trump's success and sustaining of his base, that it's essential to look at what is happening in that arena. I appreciated the explanation she gave of the engravings on Tyler Robinson's... more
The entire BBC is utterly horrific claiming to be impartial whilst staying silent on Gaza and giving reform far to much platform
I listen to this compulsively because it helps me understand how the media can be so buried in whataboutism, reacting to the latest bright shiny thing and determined to normalise the insane actions of US politics that it facilitates a slide to authoritarianism. It’s terrible journalism, but addictive. Makes me proud of our Australian journalists.
