  • I’ve noticed a trend…

Yes, I’ve noticed a trend in this program and other BBC political output for the journalists to provide to the listener /viewer their own opinions. Which means that rather than have objective reporting and summarising of the facts we have ‘opinions’ presented that are cast as fact and authoritative comment. • Anti Trump isn’t news

BBCs anti Trump seems to still be showing. Do try to be open minded and think about that “special relationship”. The world has went wrong and getting right is messy. Friends are there through the messy bits. Try to be fair, you’re treading on a friendship.

  • It used to be good.

This used to be good but it’s all about the presenters talking about themselves now. Maybe a change of presenters would get it back on track.

  • Great roundup of the day

Well presented and digestible round up of the day’s news. Was surprised to see so many bad reviews which makes me think that one person has got it in for this team. If you don’t like it, don’t listen to it!

  • So interesting

I have only just listening to Newscast after faithfully listening to Americast for a long time. Interesting and informative. As well presented as Americast. I will definitely be following this podcast.
