Brilliant part 6. I always thought that the term ‘digger’ originated on the Goldfields.

Incredibly arrogant and undeniably Anglo centric, apart from that, they’re quite entertaining.

  • Fantastic show, always a treat when it comes out!

I can’t say enough good things about the show, its amazing quality, the breadth of history, all terrific! However I do wonder…was Dominic wronged by a man of short stature at some point in his life? He seems unnecessarily fixated on attributing negative qualities to men based on their height when there otherwise doesn’t seem cause for it, and it makes me feel like he must have a negative body image that he’s processing by projecting backwards to historical figures. Still 5 stars for me though!

I’ve listened to quite a few episodes thus far and usually enjoy them well enough. However, I’m on part three of the revolution in Iran series and I’m tired of hearing the hosts indirectly make excuses for the hostage crisis and make fun of how Americans responded to it. There are no two sides. Innocent people were captured and tortured due to Islamic extremism. (BTW how’s that been working out for your country?) I will no longer be listening to this podcast.
