  • The Movie Amazon Doesn’t Want You to See

I really enjoyed learning more about Vinny Lingham. He has such an interesting perspective on a wide range of topics, from his personal health journey to the impact of modern agriculture on both our food system and the planet. I especially appreciated the discussion around monocrop agriculture and the corporate influence on our food landscape. it challenged some of my assumptions and opened my eyes to different viewpoints on industrial farming.

  • Insightful and easy to understand

I really enjoyed the episode “sleep isn’t for muscle repair - here’s what it’s actually for”. It offered a fascinating explanation of the important work the brain does during sleep and challenged some common assumptions about recovery. The information was presented in a clear, engaging way that made a complex topic easy to understand. I also appreciated how the spade connected sleep with overall health and longevity. I look forward to listening to more episodes!

  • Informative episode with actionable info!

I've listened to a handful of episodes now and the through-line is always the same - Dr. Lufkin goes deeper than you expect. But the one with Dr. Elisabetta Burchi discussing the vagus nerve was so informative. I thought it might be a neuroscience-heavy conversation and turned into something I was taking notes on and rewinding to catch it all. The connection between chronic stress and the specific inflammatory markers driving heart disease, cognitive decline, metabolic dysfunction were laid out... more
