  • Love Rina & her guests!

She feels like a friend and mentor! Can’t wait to see her in person at Meatstock. Just ordered 2 Primal Tallow Balms because I know my dry skin needs the best nourishment as well as hydration.

  • Not based in science

Touting the carnivore diet to fix inflammation, hormonal dysregulation, heart disease, cancer, dementia, and mental health disorders is so dangerous and will kill many people. This is not remotely based on the vast majority of scientific evidence.

Misinformation like this killed my father - he died of a heart attack while working out at his fitness facility - not realizing that exercise could not overcome a meat-centric dietary pattern. He never got to enjoy the retirement he worked so hard fo... more

  • Interview with Candi Frazier

This was one the best interviews I’ve heard on this show. Gave me so much to think about and I agree with all her advice. I’m a huge coffee drinker but I absolutely think it is a hormone disrupter and whenever I cut back or switch to decaffeinated, I feel so much better. I also wear a CGM and have a good friend who is a type 1 diabetic who also wears a CGM. I just want to point out that our numbers after eating the same foods can be drastically different. So if her husband has extremely elevated... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep 155 - Dr Ede | 25 Common Foods That Trigger Dementia (EAT THIS)
Q: How bad is too much carbohydrate for the brain?
Carbohydrates raise blood glucose and insulin, which can damage brain energy if chronically high; the brain does best when glucose is controlled, with ketones serving as a safer, steady energy source during insulin resistance.
Ep 144 - Dr Brewer | 1-Minute Test To Prevent Heart Attack [5 Foods Clogging Your Arteries]
Q: How can listeners check their own vascular health at home before seeing a doctor?
Use the ankle-brachial index (ABI) with a simple blood pressure cuff to compare arm and ankle pressures, and explore home tests like CIMT or AI-enhanced CT angiography where affordable, while understanding these are supplementary tools and not replacements for professional medical evaluation.
Ep 144 - Dr Brewer | 1-Minute Test To Prevent Heart Attack [5 Foods Clogging Your Arteries]
Q: What are your three best tips to prevent a heart attack and unclog the arteries?
Test don't guess to identify pre-diabetes early, focus on reducing sugar intake and inflammatory burden, and prioritize exercise that builds muscle through a combination of resistance and high-intensity training, while avoiding excessive carbs to stabilize metabolic health.
Ep 154 - Dr D'Agostino | #1 Way To Double Autophagy & Lose Weight [EAT THIS]
Q: Can sardine fasting replicate the benefits of longer fasts (3-5 days) and how should one implement it safely?
Three to five days of sardine-focused intake can push the body into ketosis and autophagy, especially when carbohydrate intake is limited and electrolytes are maintained; safety depends on individual health and should include hydration and possibly staged refeeding after the fast.
Ep 154 - Dr D'Agostino | #1 Way To Double Autophagy & Lose Weight [EAT THIS]
Q: What is sardine fasting and how does it relate to insulin and autophagy?
Sardine fasting suppresses insulin very strongly, creating a metabolic state that can trigger autophagy much like a water fast, while still providing micronutrients; it's most effective when combined with resistance training to preserve lean mass.
