  • Great informative podcasts

I really love Nathalie’s podcasts. I’ve listened to other podcasts that have had the same guests. But Nathalie makes sure that she does a lot of great follow up questions that give us a better picture and gives us more complete information. That’s what makes a podcast so great is that she’s very thorough. Thank you so much for all that you do for your audience.

  • One of the Best for Healthy Living

Nat’s podcast is more than just biohacking and performance. She’s focused on helping you be the best you can be, and she covers everything from peptides and bioregulators to supplements to technology to stress. She’s my first stop any time there’s something I want to learn, and I never miss one of her episodes. Even if I’m not the target audience for a particular episode, I leave with knowledge I can apply right away. This is a great podcast and one everyone should listen to!

#427: The Hidden Link Between Vision, Longevity & Anxiety | Spatial Empathy, Screens & the 20-20-20 Rule With Dr. Meenal Agarwal
Q: What lifestyle changes can people adopt to support eye-brain health during aging?
Incorporate breaks from near work, ensure outdoor time, design workspaces with a window view, manage screen time, and use lighting and blue-light strategies that support circadian rhythm while maintaining visual health.
#427: The Hidden Link Between Vision, Longevity & Anxiety | Spatial Empathy, Screens & the 20-20-20 Rule With Dr. Meenal Agarwal
Q: What is the 20-20-20 rule and why is it emphasized for eye-brain health?
The rule is to look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes of near work to relax the eye muscles and prevent overuse of the central vision, supporting peripheral vision and cognitive processing.
#427: The Hidden Link Between Vision, Longevity & Anxiety | Spatial Empathy, Screens & the 20-20-20 Rule With Dr. Meenal Agarwal
Q: Why is the retina considered an extension of brain tissue, and what does that imply for eye health in longevity?
Because the retina embryonically derives from brain tissue and connects directly to brain pathways, vision processing occupies substantial neural real estate, meaning eye health and visual input influence cognition, emotion, and behavior far beyond simple sight.
#425: Broccoli Power: The Secret Longevity Molecule (Fighting Toxins, Microplastics & Aging) | Sulforaphane Exposed With David Roberts & Dr. John Gildea
Q: What's the practical takeaway for listeners about microplastics and glyphosate?
Mitigation includes reducing exposure where possible, supporting detox pathways with sulforaphane-based strategies, and recognizing that measurement of excretion may be more informative than blood levels for these toxins.
#425: Broccoli Power: The Secret Longevity Molecule (Fighting Toxins, Microplastics & Aging) | Sulforaphane Exposed With David Roberts & Dr. John Gildea
Q: Why is the stabilized form of sulforaphane important?
Natural sulforaphane is unstable; stabilizing it in capsules allows consistent dosing and reliable activation of detox pathways, which is essential for real-world use.
