  • Lots of good information

I love these podcasts and learn so much. It can be annoying when Nathalie is asking a question, however. She repeats the question so many times I want to say “just let him answer!”

  • I came for the science, not the life story

Topics are fascinating and the guests clearly know their stuff. I just wish less time went to who they are and more to what they actually know. Skip ahead a few minutes and you get real val

  • Great informative podcasts

I really love Nathalie’s podcasts. I’ve listened to other podcasts that have had the same guests. But Nathalie makes sure that she does a lot of great follow up questions that give us a better picture and gives us more complete information. That’s what makes a podcast so great is that she’s very thorough. Thank you so much for all that you do for your audience.

  • One of the Best for Healthy Living

Nat’s podcast is more than just biohacking and performance. She’s focused on helping you be the best you can be, and she covers everything from peptides and bioregulators to supplements to technology to stress. She’s my first stop any time there’s something I want to learn, and I never miss one of her episodes. Even if I’m not the target audience for a particular episode, I leave with knowledge I can apply right away. This is a great podcast and one everyone should listen to!

I’m always learning something new on this podcast! Nathalie asks great questions and re-iterates what a guest might have said that was confusing.. which is very helpful!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#465: Personalizing GLP-1 Medications: The Role of Genetics in Weight Loss and Side Effects With Noura Abul-Husn M.D. Ph.D
Q: How might this research change clinical practice today?
It could lead to a pre-prescribing discussion informed by genetic insights, help set expectations, and, in the longer term, support a risk calculator and personalized dosing approaches.
#465: Personalizing GLP-1 Medications: The Role of Genetics in Weight Loss and Side Effects With Noura Abul-Husn M.D. Ph.D
Q: What was the key genetic signal you found related to weight loss and nausea?
A missense variant in the GLP-1 receptor gene was linked to greater weight loss and, separately, to higher nausea risk, suggesting a shared mechanism at the receptor that affects both efficacy and tolerability.
#465: Personalizing GLP-1 Medications: The Role of Genetics in Weight Loss and Side Effects With Noura Abul-Husn M.D. Ph.D
Q: Why did you decide to investigate genetic influences on GLP-1 responses?
Because pharmacogenomics already informs how people metabolize many drugs, and we hypothesized that genetic differences could influence GLP-1 mechanisms of weight loss and side effects, enabling more personalized prescribing.
#466: Breast Cancer: The Hidden COSTS & Radical Resilience (Secrets On Recovery, Team-Building & Nutrition REVEALED) | With Dr. Laura James
Q: What would an ideal care team look like for someone newly diagnosed?
An ideal team includes a medical oncologist, surgeon, radiation oncologist, and naturopathic oncologist or integrative provider, plus a nurse navigator if possible, and a trusted support person to attend visits and help with questions and logistics.
#461: Dr. Bill Lawrence is BACK: How I reversed My Biological Age By Two Decades
Q: What role do peptide bioregulators play in longevity, and how do they differ from synthetic signaling peptides?
Peptide bioregulators act at the DNA and cellular-regulation level to promote organ regeneration and aging reversal, often requiring longer, multi-year protocols, whereas synthetic signaling peptides work more for short-term benefits and signaling pathways. The two can be complementary in a comprehensive longevity strategy.
