This guy has not a clue what is going on.I just wasted a hour of my life I can’t get back
Great podcast I learned a lot, I like the no nonsense reporting. I also like that Ben looks at the cracks in all this reporting. Thanks
Any episode where he is out walking with a guest on his treadmill are automatically skipped. Dude. Your time is not that restricted that you need your walk while carrying on an interview. It's gimmicky and annoying as hell.
13 minutes of talking about yourself before letting the guest get a word? Arrogant.
Some "Interviews" are really commercials for products he's pitching. (Calocurb anyone?) You need a disclaimer at the beginning that you have a financial interest.
I think the content is helpful however I had to unsubscribe because I can’t handle the “breathless” sound of Ben walking while he records. I tried to get over it, but I couldn’t and continually feel irritated. I understand why he does it for health reasons, but I don’t think needs to be done during recording. There are many more hours in a day to walk.
Ben is super smart and i love the way he balances an evidence based approach with a holistic (and low risk) one. However some guests he chooses seem scammy. Example- Dr Amie in an episode from Oct '25. No credentials listed, says she fixes thyroids, refers to herself as doctor when it's a phd in nutrition. Seems misleading: although i understand she can refer to herself as doctor however in this context it may be confusing for many listeners.
