  • Great info but TOO many ads

There is a lot of great common sense valuable information on this podcast but most of the time is used for same annoying ads. I realize money needs to be generated but so little time is devoted to great subject matter.

  • Doctor Bob Martin

...most physically fit doctor I have ever seen.

...have been taking his recommended products for years and do not intend to stop: Xlear nasal spray, PressAssure, EsterC.

... admire his continuous study of the medical literature to broadcast to my non-medical understanding.

  • Good gosh, advertise much?

I clicked skip 30 seconds MORE TIMES in this podcast than I have on any others on a long time. I understand you have to make money, but do fewer ads per episode. I looked for info on CBD oil, but the podcast was filled with self-promotion, guest-promotion, Ads, and only THEN, a little helpful information. I won’t listen to another podcast here any time soon. Much to improve.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Prescription They Never Wrote: How American Medicine Left Nutrition Out of the Equation — And What It's Costing You
Q: And Dr. Bob, why is this such an important topic for our listeners?
It highlights a systemic gap in medical training on nutrition, argues for stronger preventive care, and points to the need for better nutrition education across all healthcare providers to reduce chronic disease.
Your Body Has Built-In Software. Mushrooms Are the Update It's Been Waiting For.
Q: What makes the Kyolic Mushrooms Plus products different from other mushroom supplements?
They emphasize full-spectrum extracts from actual fruiting bodies rather than powders, aiming to deliver a wider array of bioactives for better bioavailability and signal diversity, and they are paired with aged garlic extract to create synergistic effects across sleep, focus, and immunity.
Your Body Has Built-In Software. Mushrooms Are the Update It's Been Waiting For.
Q: What are functional mushrooms and why are they used in these Kyolic formulas?
Functional mushrooms are mushrooms with health-promoting properties and bioactive compounds that can support immune function, brain health, and energy. In these formulas, extracts from Reishi, Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, Chaga, and Turkey Tail are used to target sleep, focus, and immune support, often enhanced by aged garlic extract to improve circulation and inflammation signaling.
Every 33 Seconds: The Hidden Cardiovascular Crisis Your Doctor Isn't Talking About
Q: Why is there a gap between Nobel Prize-winning science and what doctors discuss with patients, and how can listeners access more information?
There is a gap because nitric oxide is a gas that is hard to measure with standard tests, so clinicians rely on symptoms; the guest points listeners to n101.com for research and protocols to understand and restore nitric oxide.
Every 33 Seconds: The Hidden Cardiovascular Crisis Your Doctor Isn't Talking About
Q: Can you break down in plain language what nitric oxide actually is, what it does inside the body, and why its absence is being called one of the most overlooked health areas?
Nitric oxide is a signaling molecule produced in the body; it acts as a vasodilator, improves oxygen delivery and energy production in cells, mobilizes stem cells, and helps regulate inflammatory responses, with deficiency linked to age-related diseases. Regular production declines with age, making proactive restoration important.
