  • Great content, please fix the audio

This podcast is fantastic for those on a TTC journey. I have found it so informative and calming. However, most episodes there are serious issues with the audio, at times making it very difficult to listen.

  • Inaccurate and unhelpful information/fear mongering

I’m genuinely shocked by the ignorance and completely inaccurate information included in the latest episode, “Common Mistakes to Avoid When You’re TTC.”

To quote: “You don’t want [period blood] to be brown, black, like any funky colours”. I’m amazed that a podcast which claims to empower women in their jou... more

How to prepare for IVF to optimise your outcomes
Q: So what do you think about that?
I think it's largely a node of rubbish to focus solely on one food type; instead, a varied diet that incorporates various foods is more beneficial.
How to prepare for IVF to optimise your outcomes
Q: What would you say to them regarding alcohol preparation for IVF?
In an ideal world, we wouldn't drink at all, but if you can avoid it altogether that would be best. One to two drinks a week might not be detrimental but limiting intake is recommended.
How to prepare for IVF to optimise your outcomes
Q: And I assume if somebody's got time and obviously money then, and they had digestive issues, you'd be thinking about gut health in addition to that.
Yes, ideally if someone's got money to investigate their gut health, gut health is hugely important in the scheme of things. It's something worth supporting to ensure you're getting the best.
How to prepare for IVF to optimise your outcomes
Q: Kirsty, first of all, tell us, what are the key nutritional foundations that people should be focusing on as they prepare and go through IVF?
The key nutritional foundations include maintaining blood sugar stability, supporting gut health, focusing on a Mediterranean-style diet, ensuring adequate protein intake, and managing sleep and stress.
Navigating the Complexities of Secondary Infertility
Q: What advice would you give to people navigating it?
A good start is finding a support space to share fears and feelings, as expressing them can help lessen shame.
