  • Jen Stancombe - Elsie 💜

My goodness, that was a tough but important listen. The bravery of this lovely lady is just immense. What her and their family and other families in Southport have gone through is just unimaginable. Elsie would be so proud! Very sensitively handled too x

  • Where’s the trigger warning?!

I think I’m listening to a podcast that will help me manage my fear and anxiety around birth - but it contains a midwife stating that women worry about surviving birth and a story about baby death. Bizarre and really upsetting to entice an audience of people coming for support and subjecting them to sad stories with no trigger warning. I can’t unhear what I’ve heard now.

  • Life of a midwife

Whilst I enjoy the midwife stories I find the background music annoying & distracting, there is no need for it . That said I love the happy mum podcast overcast & think Giovanna is fantastic
