Lazy gimmick trying to use others work to make a buck. I couldn’t make it thru one episode! Voices even sound like fingernails down a chalk board.

  • Refreshing

I love that these two could care less about being politically correct and say what they want, how they want, and target who they want. They look at the real evidence and rip those who cling to innocence cases as “not-so-bright,”desperate, greedy money-making ventures. Mention it all!! ❤️

  • Honest and Sincere

This podcast is right on my wavelength as it calls out the dishonest tactics of some true crime podcasters. They are also funny and have good chemistry. I enjoy hosts who “just say the thing.”

Whoever says they are “racist,” etc is just angry the hosts won’t follow their script regarding what is okay and not okay to say. The hosts make honest observations and refuse to just go along to get along. I appreciate that brutal sincerity when important issues like another podcast twisting the victimi... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

E 140. Comparison of Injuries
Q: What is the significance of bilateral lung injuries in understanding how long the victim lived after being injured?
Bilateral hemothorax indicates bleeding into both lungs, which suggests a longer, more painful death over several minutes rather than an instant fatal wound, aligning with a prolonged struggle.
E 140. Comparison of Injuries
Q: What does the autopsy say about the 15 major stab wounds you mentioned?
The autopsy identifies 15 major stab wounds and also notes numerous superficial wounds and punctures, indicating a prolonged struggle with multiple injuries rather than a single, quick stabbing.
E 140. Comparison of Injuries
Q: Can you explain the difference between the legal time of death and the actual moment of death in this case?
The legal time of death is documented when doctors determine that treatment has ceased and resuscitation is no longer possible; it can be hours after the actual event if the person was still being treated, which means the true moment of death may precede the official record.
E 139. No Lies Detected-- with George Olivo
Q: What about the idea that polygraphs are cheat-proof or fully reliable?
The guest emphasizes that polygraphs are stress detectors with limitations, noting issues like false positives/negatives, individual differences, and the need for proper questions and multiple evaluations to reach a reliable conclusion.
E 139. No Lies Detected-- with George Olivo
Q: Can polygraph be used in court and how does it influence outcomes when it is not presented as direct evidence?
Polygraph results are typically not introduced as direct evidence; they can influence prosecutorial decisions, plea bargains, or pretrial motions as circumstantial or supportive context.
