  • Love to listen to these guys.

Definitely prefer these two to your average left wing female podcasts host. But a bit too much S word. I prefer not to have feces brought to mind several times an episode. Other than that it’s good.

  • Bad research/memory

I listened to an episode about a local girl who was murdered and y’all can’t even call her by her name correctly. Switch back and forth between Lauren and Laura the whole episode. Not to mention that it really doesn’t even seem like y’all researched the case or studied the area. Just saying wildly inaccurate things like that her housing was a dorm etc. just seems bad.

  • Oh how the mighty have fallen

For around 7 years upon it’s creation, TCG was easily one of the 3-5 best true crime podcasts..

    •Thoroughly researched

    •Tasteful humor

    •Honesty

    •Objectivity

•Fantastic storytelling (From Nick? Absolutely. From the Captain? Not so much)

•Stayed away from divisive social/political issues

That said, those days are longgggg gone.

To be fair, to an extent it’s understandable after many years the pool of captivating stories begin to dry up (I say “to an extent“ because podcasts like Casefile... more
