I have been catching up from start to finish since at least 2018, and today I am finally in 2025. This podcast is so informative and interesting, and Nick and the Captain give it a lighthearted and professional deep dive every time. Great work.
I love this podcast, just two guys talking about true crime. Great story telling feels very professional.
I LOVE the boomer hick vibes and how these guys consistently mispronounce things and use bad grammar. Nothing makes me happier than when the Capt interrupts a deadly serious moment with a totally off-the-wall and inappropriate comment. Nothing like a dash of 8th grade humor in what is an other wise morbidly depressing topic. These guys have been doing this for ages and they aren’t just keyboard warriors or armchair detectives. I tried to listen. First time. We met a ‘mind hunter’ expert (???) so inarticulate I had an anxiety attack on his behalf. Nope. Will not be back.
This last interview with the mindhunter was terrible, that guy danced around every question and would interrupt himself mid sentence to start another sentence, just to interrupt that one too,. He couldn’t stay on track
