  • Great recommendation

I didn’t think I could feel empathy for Clayton, but this story made him more human. Frustrating to listen a story still unfolding without a resolution, just as the victims are living it in real time. Laura’s mom is the real villain in the story—making Laura another victim of the madness. Where will it end?

  • Ugghhhhh the ads

Found this podcast intriguing, but I’m abandoning it halfway through because each episode has at least 25 minutes of ads and fluff and filler. It’s way too annoying to have to skip through all of that for 20 minutes of actual new content each episode. Hopefully the creators read this and realize their cash grab mentality makes this podcast unlistenable.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Introducing: The Betrayal of Shohei Ohtani - "The Letter O" | EP 1
Q: Why was Las Vegas a crucial location for reporting on the betting angle?
It's the betting epicenter with deep industry networks, allowing access to experts and firsthand accounts of bookmaking practices.
Introducing: The Betrayal of Shohei Ohtani - "The Letter O" | EP 1
Q: How did you first approach a story this potentially explosive and rumor-based?
We emphasized cautious sourcing, cross-checking every lead, and legal/ethical considerations to avoid shaping the rumor into fact before verification.
Not Over Yet | EP 15
Q: What happens if Laura fires this attorney and gets a new one?
The attorney/panel suggested that changing counsel could introduce further delays and complicate scheduling, but the core issue remains whether Laura can obtain a fair opportunity to review evidence and participate in the proceedings without undue delay.
The Investigation Report | BONUS
Q: I guess my first question for you is, did you read it? And as you were reading it, what stood out to you?
Three letters stood out: HCG. Laura's pregnancy claims and the surrounding documentation were central to the investigation, and the deposition material cited repeatedly underscored how the story evolved over time.
These are Yes or No Questions | EP 7
Q: You were never pregnant by Clayton Echard, correct?
Laura's response indicated she was not pregnant, but the overall testimony suggested a more complex, contested history rather than a simple confirmation.
