After Ray inherited a box of files from his mom, his world is turned upside down. Among the hand-written notes, letters and photos, he finds what he believes is a sini... more

My Mothers Lies is an amazing story, poorly told. The way the timeline was structured was odd and jumpy, there were too many people to remember and not reintroduced, the audio clips (even the new ones) were not great and often went unexplained. There was a weird lack of focus overall and per episode. A different production team could have really worked magic on this. Also why didn’t they wait until the verdict was back to release the last episode? Worth a listen because the original content is s... more
Who is doing the ad voice overs for Quince and whatever that play several times during each episode? Stop letting her talk into a mic. She sounds like a valley girl! Write better copy! “I have so much clothes from quince.” That grates on me so badly I’m leaving a comment on it. The show having commercials is fine; the way you’ve gone about it is awful. I will never purchase anything from the companies who use her voice and terrible grammar on principle.
The music is way overdone. Very loud and drawn out. Each episode leaves you with little information. Honestly this could have easily been covered in one episode
Susan, Tom and their accomplices are the worst type of people.
Hopefully, one day, there will be justice in the case.
However, the indecipherable audio recordings add nothing to the podcast. Why play something when you need to immediately say “that’s a little hard to make out”
And then follow up with telling listeners what they ostensibly just heard.
The puppy mill one got me🥺 someone needs to investigate Ridgeland Farms in Wisconsin. They product test on innocent beagles. Please someone advocate for these poor babies ❤️

A gripping true crime series that blends long-form storytelling with courtroom and investigative reporting. Across recent episodes, the show follows a high-stakes case surrounding Sabrina Kidd, including testimonies, legal maneuvering, and the pursuit of closure for families involved. The format often weaves in live-like courtroom atmospherics, investigative reporting, and personal reflections from family members and journalists, offering a cinematic, narrative-driven take on real events. Notable strengths include its multi-angled storytelling that foregrounds victims' families and a media perspective, plus serialized case exploration that can transition into TV or documentary-style storytelling.
