Sad story, but so dragged out and so much left unaddressed. How many times (in seven episodes) can you say “she trusted him and he betrayed her”. No kidding. No addressing her physical condition that allowed this horror.
No matter if you went to “wifey mode” you did the right thing from the very beginning! You never questioned yourself or thought of the “benefits” associated with saying “nothing”. You knew you needed to report it. I hope you are a better place now. I hope you see how brave and nourishing and helpful and daring you were. You are an inspiration to so many!
I was completely captivated by the strength and character Jenifer showed through the entire podcast. I just kept listening… and finished it in a day. Normally I only listen to about 30 minutes of podcast per day. This was like a book I couldn’t put down.
Editing to add: it seems like the amount of commercials has significantly increased. 30 minute episode and we’re only getting about 20 minutes of content? That’s a lot of ads.
I still enjoy the podcast though
I’ve been listening since the beginning. Very interesting and unique context in the world of true crime. However, there are now an insane amount of ads on the non-subscriber episodes. Also, a ton of filler episodes so that new episodes are weeks and weeks apart. If this is how the host and/or network are trying to get more paid subscriptions, it’s actually has completely turned me off from joining
I just found this gem of a podcast and it’s so good!
