Love the Murder Sheet! Their coverage of Delphi was out of this world and I’m thrilled about Shadow of the Bridge - what an accomplishment! But more importantly, their coverage of the murder of
Scott Macklem completely transformed my view of this case. They are not afraid to do the research and stand on the side of a case that may be unpopular. Temujin Kensu, or whatever his legal name is, is a monster and is exactly where he belongs. Mind blowing!
I love this show and the interaction between you both. I wish, though, that you would talk more, Kevin! You have insightful comments and observations when you do contribute, but you’re very much in the background. I think the show could benefit from a more balanced approach.
This has become one of the only true crime podcasts I’ll listen to, as it’s both informative and incredibly human (I admire their care and kindness for people). I’m tired of hearing biased coverage, in either direction. Aine and Kevin are well-researched and incredibly fair to both sides. I recognize I have a certain bias, and listening to this podcast helps to remind me of all the sides. I believe that the people who complain about this podcast being biased are angry that Aine and Kevin refuse ... more
This is an excellent podcast with facts laid out in an easy to comprehend manner. Both hosts are personable and enjoyable to listen to with some light hearted banter to counterbalance the heavy subject matter. Their book “Shadow of the bridge” is a great read providing background and details of the Delphi case with clarity and compassion. I highly recommend it and this podcast.
It’s a little frustrating that they mention all these serial killers, and murderers more broadly but especially serial killers, who worked in police military during the time when the CIA was running the Phoenix Program and any number of other horrible mass murder campaigns abroad and the two hosts never stop to wonder if perhaps these are connected. Would mail them a copy of Programmed to Kill if I could! For people who do a lot of good journalism and seem to genuinely take great effort to do ri... more
