I’m about to transition into a paralegal career (I’m also a registered nurse) and taking my certification course. How can I best assist attorneys? What’s the best way to get my foot in the door (I’m currently working in magistration court as a clerk supervisor)?
I’ve been listening to podcasts by The Prosecutors for a long time and have always found them thought-provoking, well-researched, and convincing regarding their knowledge of the law and applicable facts. Absolutely brilliant. Also, they are excellent speakers: clear, well-paced, easy to understand.
While I agree that the prosecution of James Comey isn’t great, it’s so funny that The Hypocrites are so mad about it and say that it’s going to lead to political prosecution in the next democratic administration. I don’t remember you crying for hours about the political prosecution of the previous democratic administration, and that maybe the current situation is a result of that.

I’m so confused about where all the checks and balances are in our government.
I wanted to know how the department of Justice works in our country. I’ve been under the impression that it is separate from the administration. I assumed the DOJ were the lawyers for the people.
