HERE’S MY QUESTION: “Do you take the polygraph or not?” “Do you lawyer up or not?” “ What’s an honest citizen who stumbles upon a dead body to do?” What’s would Brett and Alice do? You’re walking down the street and encounter an abandoned murder victim. You call 9-1-1. You guys always say the person who finds the body is an immediate suspect. So knowing this, do you speak to the police without a lawyer or not? Do you take a polygraph or not? If you don’t take it, you’re uncooperative and... more
What book would you recommend to understand the impact of the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand? Keep up the great work on both Legal Briefs and The Prosecutors.
Your podcasts are always so informative. I just listened to the episode about a murder case without a body. I was juror #1 on a murder case without a body in 2013. All of the circumstantial evidence only pointed to one thing…the beautiful 17 year old, Alexis Murphy, was no longer alive after last being seen with Randy Taylor. We got the conviction! He finally led authorities to her remains 7 years later, based on a deal to be moved to a less harsh prison. Anyhow, keep up the good work!
I absolutely LOVE your podcast!! So insightful!! I just listened to your coverage of the Jodi Huisentruit case. Do you happen to know if anyone looked into John Vansice’s ex wife? I would be curious to know if she’s still alive and has been cleared by police. She seems like a good suspect. Curious on what your opinions are on her. Keep up the great work!!!
Truly love getting to learn from you two! Do either of you have aspirations to be a federal judge? If it’s not something you have necessarily have aspirations for, would you consider it if someone strongly encouraged you to pursue it?
