Overall one of my favorite podcasts. I really enjoy the topics she covers. The only thing that takes me out of the top is is how millennial coded she is. She’s constantly dropping “literally”, “all the things”, plus so many more coated in a deep vocal fry. Regardless it’s a very engaging podcast and I always tune in.
But the I the voice …..each sentence ends in a downhill whine. Sorry I tried but I can’t anymore.
I love the thorough, non-biased (yet not without opinion)—laid back “bestie” approach Annie takes. I always look forward to the next episode.
The host’s commentary is just a little shallow and at times ill-conceived. I couldn’t take her seriously after she referred to the victim as the “valeVictorian” of her high school class. (It’s valedictorian.) Not trying to sound superior, but keen insight and attention to detail matter, especially in true crime coverage. I won’t be listening again.
Thrilled to have discovered this podcast. I’m personally a fan of the deep dives, as they give me the most insight into the full story, nuances, and most importantly the victim’s story.
I was love to hear coverage on the Suzanne Simpson case out of San Antonio, Texas, although I haven’t been able to find much detail on what happened since they are still looking for the body. There have been some updates, but I’m not sure if it’s enough for you to go into a deep dive on it. I nonetheless thought ... more
