  • Erin moriarty

This lady is way too old to be a broadcaster. Her lisp mixed with her old lady voice is so terrible. Enjoy sucking on trump CBS I won’t be following

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while and it seems like recently whoever is sound mixing is adding incredibly grating sound effects which make it incredibly uncomfortable to listen to.

  • Journalism or Victim Shaming?

In the Abducted episode, whomever interviewed the child and his mother, and the sexually abused daughter needs to apologize to each of them. How dare you doubt and question and trigger children. And how dare you question a survivor.

This needs to end. There are better ways to corroborate. A formal apology must be made. You were not questioning a murderer. These are kids and this is why they don’t come forward.

Do and be better. DNF the episode.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Post Mortem | My Uncle Joe’s Murder
Q: Why did Heather decide to sit for this interview despite the controversy around the case?
She felt the best person to tell her story was herself, and she wanted to share her side openly, even though she was initially reluctant.
Kouri Richins Found Guilty
Q: Was any of that a mistake in your opinion as a defense attorney not to put Kouri on the stand?
The defense argues that decisions in trial are made in real time and that not calling witnesses is a strategic call, with the state sometimes holding back evidence in anticipation of a certain defense strategy.
Kouri Richins Found Guilty
Q: What was your reaction to then hearing the verdict and were you surprised?
I was surprised by how quickly the jury came back; there was substantial evidence presented, and while I expected some deliberation, the outcome reflected a decisive assessment by the jury.
Mystery at Eagle Creek
Q: What happened on the Eagle Creek Trail that day?
Narrative suggests Rhonda fell off a cliff after a tense hike, with Nichols offering an evolving account that there might have been a suicide or a fall rather than a straightforward murder.
Post Mortem | The Girl From Wahoo
Q: What ultimately convinced the grand jury to indict Ambrose?
Ambrose's interviews, new witness statements, and a comparison of the shoe prints at the murder scene that appeared to match Ambrose's size and pattern.
