  • Used to love the show

I used to listen to this show every night. Now, I can't stand it.

The woman that sounds like Meghan Kelly is doing my head in.

You can't go from Keith Morrison to this...

  • Drop the music

I recently signed up for Premium because I like the show and most importantly it does not have the background music that I find so annoying in too many podcast. But today’s episode unfortunately did have music for the first part, so much so that you can hardly hear what’s happened. Why??? Why do you need to be just like all the others when it was working so well??? I didn’t even listen to the rest, so disappointed. I will see how it goes for the next week or so but if they continue with those s... more

  • Stop Clogging the feed!

The entire Dateline feed is completely cluttered with half a dozen or more spinoff pods and other nonsense. Trying to navigate through it is a hot mess and not even worth the hassle anymore.

TikTok star accused of hiring hit man. Hemlock and magic spells at a murder trial. Plus, the Bexley Box.
Q: What role does the 'spellcaster' element play in the prosecution's narrative?
Prosecutors argue that the repeated requests for spells and the alleged intent behind them demonstrate a calculated effort to control or harm Maya, whereas the defense portrays it as a sign of love and desperation rather than coercive intent.
TikTok star accused of hiring hit man. Hemlock and magic spells at a murder trial. Plus, the Bexley Box.
Q: Can you summarize what the trial in the Millete case is focusing on?
The trial centers on whether Larry Millete killed Maya Millete, with prosecutors presenting a pattern of suspicious behavior, possible poisoning theory, and spells as part of a motive, while the defense questions the lack of a body and the strength of the evidence.
Talking Dateline: Breaking Point
Q: Marsha says, why did the police not match the tire tracks on her lawn to the tires on Jason's car? Wouldn't that have moved it from circumstantial evidence to factual?
The answer is yes if the tracks could have been matched to Jason's car and excluded all others; however, the tire tracks were consistent but not exclusive proof, and the case remained circumstantial.
Talking Dateline: A Window of Time
Q: Hi Blayne, I was curious when you were interviewing the protesters outside the courthouse, did you happen to ask any of them since they thought the accused was innocent, could they explain how his DNA got inside of the victim?
Some protesters suggested a possible relationship or alternative explanations, but the episode notes that none of the evidence supported these claims, and the defense discussions did not change the core DNA findings.
