  • Too many different shows in one feed

I like Dateline but the podcast is way too crowded. They put ever single different show in this feed and then break them out in different podcasts. Please just set up a separate podcast for each of your shows and leave this one just for Dateline. I really hate having to skip through 10 different shows on this feed.

  • Disappointed

Since paying for Premium, I don’t get to hear any of the episodes, only “After the Verdict “ or “ Talking with Andrea”. I’m not interested in listening to the aftermath without knowing what they’re talking about. Don’t waste your money.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Talking Dateline: Slow Burn
Q: What was it like speaking with first responders after such a traumatic scene?
Blayne and Andrea reflect on the bravery and emotional burden carried by volunteer firefighters and first responders, noting their selfless service and how their accounts shaped the storytelling by highlighting the human impact of the tragedy.
Talking Dateline: Slow Burn
Q: Can you give us a quick recap of the episode for new listeners?
Andrea provides a concise recap: a fire at Keith Caneiro's home kills his family and Keith himself; a second nearby fire targets Paul Caneiro; Paul is charged with arson and the quadruple murder, and the case unfolds through trials, interviews, and emotional testimonies.
Talking Dateline: The Bluegrass Mystery
Q: Dateline NBC, you didn't say why he did it. Was it because she was going to divorce him?
The guests discuss that the evidence doesn't include a confession, so investigators rely on circumstantial factors and interviews to piece together motives, with the prevailing theory that Ella's intention to leave may have provoked a deadly response.
Talking Dateline: After the Flood
Q: Would a flood warning system, in your view, have saved lives on July 4th, had it been in place?
Yes, it could have provided timely warnings for many people, though it would not have saved everyone, and some factors like the lack of a uniform plan still mattered.
Talking Dateline: After the Flood
Q: How did you kind of prepare for that going in?
Holt explains that tragedy often requires balancing sensitivity with journalistic duty, and emphasizes the need to portray both the human stories and the broader systemic issues involved.
