  • On a leash

The lovely Delia seemed constrained on season 8.. like she was edited down to the bare minimum. Not her usual “unleashing” of a story and all related possibilities

  • Disappointed

I’ve listened to every season of CounterClock so far. Some seasons are amazing (loved the Pelley Family series) and some are lackluster. Unfortunately for me season 8 was lackluster. It’s a fascinating case but there’s just not much to go on. I kept waiting for there to be some kind of breakthrough but nothing. I will continue to listen and support the show…just disappointed in this season.

  • pedestrian

Host talks and speculates way too much, and many of the speculations have giant logic leaps. The constant floating of weak theories feels mostly like it's for stretching episodes out more than anything else. The cases covered are themselves interesting, but they are wasted on this host's style and obvious lack of journalistic experience.

  • Hooked

Undoubtedly the best investigative podcast I’ve listened to. D digs deep and deeper into the case, uncovers new evidence, and makes new and worthy connections that challenge the competency of police investigations and question the validity of verdicts.

  • Not my style

The format and reporting seem so flat. After a while, I can’t even hear it anymore, when I realize I’m not paying attention, I start listening again and it’s so blah and I’m bored.
