There is one thing that will kill a true crime podcast for me. Syrupy, bleeding-heart projections about the victim(s). We really do not know what a victim’s life would be like today if they had not been murdered. Why do so many podcasters gush on with speculations about “the wonderful things” the victim “would have accomplished if their life had not been cut short”? Maybe such statements make a caster feel better about themselves for exploiting a victim for their story? Such comments are ju... more

Kylie hets straight to the story and treats the victims with respect. My only complaint is the vocal delivery -- kind of like a ten year old girl impersonating Christopher Walken. It's not terrible and won't stop me listening, but speaking with boldness and cutting out the halted speech would allow listeners to focus entirely on the story.
