Delia, I used to listen to your podcasts religiously but now you just make me sick. I’m trans myself and just feel so uncomfortable listening to your shows.
Never blown away. Doesn’t seem like much effort put into the stories. Meh
I enjoy the stories and hearing about recent and older cases, but agree with others the delivery is sometimes off. Delia’s style can off-putting at time including the random personal stories. I also do not like how this show random inserts loud sound effects that are distracting like sirens while you’re driving and listening bc it doesn’t add to the story. Also the intro music is so long it’s comical like please, shorten this.
I’m only 16 minutes in and there has been three breaks for ads. This is insane. It makes this podcast unlistenable
You overuse a lot of phrases which make every story sound the same. “Now I’m not sure if it was this or if it was this, I don’t really know” “source material” “Associated Press” “Anyway” “I want to believe..”for example. Also the new background noises are so distracting 😣 And why read 100 year old murder stories when there’s hardly any clues or evidence on anything?? This podcast is ok if you just want to listen to someone reading from stories Word for Word.
