This is the most drawn out repetitive podcast I ever heard. It’s also boring. He also plays inaudible interviews that you can’t understand. Do not recommend.
Is this story really worth 10 episodes of investment of your time? Arguably not. This is a well-produced podcast. Plenty of legwork went into this investigation and the storytelling is top-notch. I just don’t know how this story stands out from the thousands of other missing or murdered people who played with fire a little too long and got burned. People disappear all the time after deciding to hang with criminals and other trashy groups. It’s sad, and nobody deserves to be killed or other... more
Drowning Creek was nice background audio during household chores, and I enjoyed it enough to listen through to the end. However, I think Drowning Creek struggled to differentiate itself from other True Crime podcasts. It didn't have an angle that made this story unique from other missing persons' cases; I didn't feel a reason why this podcast was a more important or compelling story than the many others like it.
This has literally been the best podcast I have ever listened to. Sean is amazing!
Most of the interviews that were played were impossible to hear. The storyline isn’t linear and it’s hard to follow.
